Ellen, born in Germany, has made her home in Toronto for the past 65 years. She raised four children with her husband John and had many successful working careers including real estate sales, ownership and management of two restaurants and clinical counselling.

Exhibition at Jadranka Pastries (Annette Stokes-Ayers)

Annette Stokes-Ayers started painting about 10 years ago after many years of observing her own mother paint. Her paternal grandmother was also an artist and a sculptor. She is a member of Franklin Carmichael Art Centre , Neilson Park Creative Centre, Etobicoke Art Group and Humber Valley Art Group where she has taken landscape and portraiture classes in water colour and acrylic.

Annette Stokes-Ayers works with acrylic and oil as well as pastel. She enjoys painting works of portraiture, landscape and floral. Her works were exhibited in juried shows in Toronto at the Etobicoke Civic Centre , Neilson Park Creative Centre and Franklin Carmichael Art Centre and now at Jadranka Café & Pastries.
