Azra Brkan is born in Zenica, I graduated from the University of Sarajevo. My occupation for twenty years was teaching German as a second language, but besides teaching I was drawing and painting all that time.
Like most artists I started from early years and continued through all my life.
Painting for me is pure joy, passion and escape from everyday pressures. I express in my own way where I see beauty experimenting with different techniques, but drawing portraits seems to be my first true love.
